I got into the garden late, evening was well upon us. I snapped these, thinking of you, dear.
The rose garden at night, had a breeze rolling through the stems and buds swaying them in music and rhythm. It’s glorious fragrance rides on the wind and the stems sway against the sky. Magical at night as dark falls and I think of you and all you have seen this last week, all you have experienced, all you have done. I love you, darling, you are a lovely lady.
Texas Rose gardening lasts into the fall. The floribundas stop blooming first. It is the grandaflora roses that carry their own deep into the season. The roses are once again magnificent as they regain their deep beauty after the hot, long, dry summer.
